How to Plant a Sapling
A properly planted sapling lives for years. Watch the video step by step; in short:
- Dig a hole twice as wide and deep as the root ball.
- Place the sapling upright, with the root collar level with the soil.
- Fill the hole with soil and press gently so no air pockets remain.
- Water generously; if needed, tie it loosely to a support stake.
